It's good to remember that Studio 1 has to follow a clock, as all DAW's do, so when you abruptly remove that clock it sits there and waits for the next clock tick. ![]() In your case, you might be able to temporarily point Studio One to the internal sound device of your PC or Mac, then change Hardware, and then point to the new one. but I always have to make sure that Studio One is shut off before I disconnect. ![]() This might be a first generation driver problem. If I shut down or otherwise disconnect the hardware device while Studio One is running, Studio One will hang and will be unresponsive.
